Cookies and Similar Storage

PhotoRap AI at photorapai.com uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preferences and site analytics. Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage are separate browser storage mechanisms.

Sign-In and Preferences

Authentication uses cookies to maintain a session and support secure sign-in, including request verification and redirect information. Configured Google sign-in may also involve Google's own cookies.

The site uses browser storage for theme preferences. Language handling may use a locale cookie. Blocking these technologies can prevent sign-in or cause preferences to reset. Names and lifetimes depend on the deployed authentication and language configuration.

Photo Drafts

The studio uses IndexedDB (photo-rap-drafts) to temporarily save selected photos, video settings and the selected template. A tab identifier in session storage (photo-rap-draft-tab) associates the draft with the current tab so it can be restored after a reload or sign-in. Existing drafts under hotel-lobby-drafts and hotel-lobby-draft-tab can be restored and copied into the new storage. Drafts expire one hour after they are last saved; restoring or changing a draft refreshes this period. Expired drafts are removed the next time the studio accesses draft storage. Removing both photos or an accepted generation request clears the current draft. Closing a tab does not immediately delete its draft. You can delete drafts through your browser’s site-data settings; doing so removes the saved photos and settings.

Generation Recovery

The studio saves an active generation task ID in session storage under photo-rap-active-generation. Existing task IDs under hotel-lobby-active-generation are also read for recovery. This helps recover task progress after a reload in the same browser session. The entries are cleared when the studio observes completion or failure. Source photos and prompts are not stored in these entries. Clearing session storage may prevent automatic recovery of the task.

Analytics and Third Parties

Production pages load Microsoft Clarity to understand site use through interactions, heatmaps and session replay. Clarity may use cookies such as _clck to recognize a browser and _clsk to connect page views into a session. Cookie behavior depends on browser restrictions and provider configuration. See Microsoft's Clarity cookie documentation.

Google Analytics loads if a Google Analytics ID is configured; Rybbit loads if a Rybbit site ID is configured. These services collect site usage information according to their settings. Stripe checkout and Google sign-in may use their own cookies when you access those services. Their policies apply separately.

Managing Storage

Use your browser settings to inspect, delete or block cookies and site storage, or use browser privacy tools to restrict analytics requests. Blocking sign-in cookies can prevent authenticated generation and account access. Clearing theme storage resets your saved preference.

The site does not currently provide a dedicated cookie preference panel or account-level analytics opt-out. This policy describes the current implementation; it does not treat continued browsing as consent to optional tracking.

Cookie and storage lifetimes vary by service and configuration. Inspect your browser's site data for the values and expiry dates actually set on your device.
